An Endless Passion

Since time-immemorial,i have felt a perennial weakness for music.It is indeed my ill-luck that i have never been able to devote much time to music.It longs to remain an utter disappointment for me and i blame a lack of encouragement especially for this mishap.
                                   When i look at the distant universe above,when i peer at the rugged Himalayan stretch below,when i extend my vision to the never-ending stretch of blue oceans to the south,when my soul glides across the vast expanse of lush green fields,valleys and terrains,i hear a wide variety of nature's symphonies.The magic of musical notes don't end here for they are perpetually carried in the whispers and whistles of winds,in the chirruping of the koyel bird,in the fearful clap of thunderbolt,in the slushing of molten snow,in the cry of the owl at late nights,in the buzzing of bees and the list moves on and on!These hymns and tunes are collected and music is born.The hums may be soft and tender,but gradually it rises to a mighty pinnacle of glory!
                                    If we take a deeper plunge,we reach the world of countless Raagas where the eternity of the east meets the pride of the west.Intermingled between these and under the zenith of time and space i prostate before the Almighty who loves to listen to our melodious prayers regardless of which faith we choose for our submission.
                                    It is standing at this view-point that i beg for a trivial part of him so that i might try and please everyone.I offer my work silently with all humility to my Creator and at the same time dedicate it to one and all because i would like to take it as a blessing when i composed every line of it.My heartiest thanks to all my well-wishers and even if you call me a philosopher at the end of the day,i will not refrain from my ideas.It is because from a superficial aspect,i do believe that music should be evergreen.It has a queer energy to wear out the shackles of time which makes it all the more special and so different from just a noise...
